MHS Architecture proposed a sustainable plan for Public Housing in Hoboken titled Vision 20/20. Vision 20/20 is a 21st-century transformation and sustainable plan that could reconfigure and expand the City of Hoboken’s affordable housing stock. Vision 20/20 is an inclusive community-based process that lifts residents from ‘the projects’ to prosperity. It is proactive, progressive, and preventive of the social ills that have been facilitated by neglect, mismanagement, poor planning, and bad design. With this vision realized, tomorrow could offer every HHA resident an affordable, modern, green, and quality housing unit in a vibrant, safe, and diverse neighborhood.
